What CLAUSTRUM is
CLAUSTRUM is an MDM (device management) platform specialised in kiosk use. It turns any Android device, such as a POS, a signage totem, a retail tablet or a time-clock terminal, into a device locked to one app or several, which can't be tampered with and which you manage entirely from the cloud. It doesn't depend on Google: it also works on AOSP devices and POS terminals without Google services.
What you can do with it
- Lock the device in kiosk mode: no Home, no Recents, no way out. On boot it goes straight to your app.
- View and control remotely: watch the screen live and tap from the panel, so you can give support without travelling.
- Apply policies by group: camera, USB and settings restrictions, auto-granted permissions, lock message and scheduled reboot.
- Install private apps: upload your APKs and they install and update themselves on the devices, silently.
- Configure the network: WiFi and mobile-data APN from the policy, without touching the device. Useful with M2M SIMs.
- Integrate through the API: send commands, such as reboot or lock, from your ERP or system, matched by serial number.
- Manage several customers: each customer runs their fleet in their own account, with their own licences. Built for resellers.
